About us

Vocalee was established in 1995 by Susan Cox (née Lee) in response to a growing business need for practical dynamic skills training that delivers lasting results.
Susan has worked as a professional training consultant for major organisations all over the world, across all business sectors, and now with her business (and life) partner Andrew, her company writes and delivers bespoke customer-centred training in the fields of Leadership, Selling, Coaching, Presenting and Customer Service, as well as providing one-to-one mentoring for business leaders in the UK and overseas, both virtually and face-to-face.

Susan Cox

I love the opportunity to engage with people at all levels within an organisation and help them achieve their objectives. I create and deliver training that is practical in its approach, relevant to the participants’ situations and, most importantly, fun to be part of.
I studied Psychology and Music and started my career as a professional singer before moving into training delivery and account management. I still utilise my performance skills in my delivery and my coaching expertise in my mentoring, and I love encouraging people to engage in training through my enthusiasm and passion for growth.

I have worked with some of the largest training companies in the world and benefitted from the experience they afforded me. This experience allows me to quickly understand what my customers need, why it matters and how I can help them to be more successful. I am then best placed to partner with them and accelerate their results. I also speak at events and conferences and often use music to bring it alive, which is always well received and always memorable.

I have been fortunate to work in many countries and love the opportunities that has given me. Those experiences help me to engage well with participants from all over the world and to adapt my delivery content and style so that it works for them.

I still love to sing.

Since joining forces with Susan in 2017 I have brought my broad business experience to the training room, helping to write and deliver management training programmes designed to grow performance and to develop key management skills. Having enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing, principally with Xerox in the UK and Europe, I then became a qualified fundraiser setting up and running a Corporate Fundraising and Major Giving programme at a large regional health charity, forging successful external partnerships across a wide variety of businesses large and small.

Following my degree in Linguistics, I lived and worked in France for six years and speak fluent French. I have since travelled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, the Americas, Australasia and South East Asia (in particular China), and have gained a great understanding of different business cultures and etiquettes.

In my spare time I am a Trustee and volunteer at Woking MIND, a charity which provides ongoing help and support to adults living with mental health problems in Surrey, UK, and I am often called upon by local businesses to give advice and guidance on Mental Health in the Workplace.

I bring enthusiasm, integrity, imagination and humour to every aspect of my work, and I too love to sing (although not as well as Susan!)
